Losing Weight with the Atkins Diet

Let’s talk about the Atkins Diet. I am not an expert on Atkins, or even on dietary needs in general. I may err more than a little. If I do (when I do), I apologize. Still, I think I will get enough right that I will convey something important.

I have often written about my food choices and a healthy diet plan. I do my best to avoid fake food products like artificial cheese, coffee whitener, non-dairy whipped toppings, and artificial sweeteners. Losing Weight and Rita Rudner

How come when you mix water and flour together you get glue…and then you add eggs and sugar and you get cake? Where does the glue go?” – Rita Rudner
 
I try to eat only natural food. I do not worry about about pesticides, steroids or antibiotics. To me, all of those enhanced foods are still food and still on my dinner plate. Maybe someday they will scare me off, but not today.
 
These days I am more concerned with White flour and White rice. These grains are so overprocessed that I am not sure that they fall into my natural food category. Read the rest of this entry »
